oviceというプロダクトの構想は、oVice創業者 CEOのジョンの
チュニジア出張中のロックダウンの経験がきっかけで誕生しました。
やむなく初めてテレワークをせざるを得なくなり、
既存のオンライン会議ツールをたくさん試してみたものの、
なかなかリアルで一緒に働いているような感覚が得られない・
オフィスではできていた流れるようなコミュニケーションが取れない

そうした違和感・ストレスを解決するために開発されたのが、
oviceのサービスです。

In 2020 our founder, tech entrepreneur Sae Hyung Jung was traveling in Tunisia, when international borders slammed shut. With flights grounded and no way home, Jung knew he needed to stay productive. He had his phone, his laptop and a great team back home, so he began to work from abroad. As a temporary fix, it worked. But the world was changing…

Jung soon realized that online communication platforms didn’t offer tools for seamless management and casual communication. The human element to remote connection was missing.

ovice was born to solve this problem.

ovice enables teams to interact casually and stay stay connected beyond the physical office. Our platform humanizes the online connection and enables the next frontier of remote and hybrid work.

Born in November 1991 in South Korea. Studied in Australia during Junior and High school.Moved to Japan after graduating from High school only to fail the University entrance exam.He then started his own trade-brokerage company and later entered University.As a student he also started an IT company and sold it to a publicly listed company in 2017.After working as an IT technology consultant, he founded Nimaru Technology (now ovice) in 2020.

Born in 1982, he has worked as a programmer since the age of 18, and has worked on embedded systems such as kernel and device drivers.During his long career he has managed to built a wide range of embedded systems such as kernels and device drivers to server-side systems and network infrastructure.

For more than 30 years, he has been involved in improving the performance of companies through business applications. In August 2022, he was appointed COO of ovice. He has been involved in the SaaS business since the dawn of cloud computing in Japan in the late 2000s, and has been a pioneer in promoting business efficiency through the use of cloud computing.

In a career spanning more than 25 years in the HR field, she has driven HR strategy and organisational development in various countries and regions. She spent more than 15 years at IBM, a global technology company, where she held a number of positions, including Global Head of HR. She then went on to work as CPO at TOA Global, an Australian financial start-up, and as HR Executive at Griffith University, Australia, before being appointed CHRO of ovice in September 2022.
